The Clwydian Range Archaeology Group is an independent voluntary association comprised of individuals who wish to research, share and disseminate information about the history of the Clwydian Range – an area of outstanding natural beauty. C.R.A.G. aims to develop wider participation in archaeological fieldwork while at the same time increasing understanding of the history of the area. To support this aim the Group aims to ensure that appropriate high quality training in archaeological field techniques is provided to all participants. The Group also aims to encourage the use of archaeology as a vehicle to deliver training in other skills. The Group organises a series of archaeological digs throughout the year to help members develop and practice their skills in excavation. You may also email the group secretary Pat Daley.
