HOLYWELL FESTIVE MARKET

Flintshire County Council, in partnership with Holywell Town Council, hosted a Festive Market on Sunday 11th December. Market stalls including gifts, crafts, plants, clothing, food & drink could all be found on the High Street.

It wasn’t just about Christmas shopping!  Flint and Holywell Rotary Club‘s Santa and float provided music and entertainment on the High Street with reindeers making an appearance later in the day.  Tower Gardens played host to a GIANT Snow Globe for families to enjoy a festive photo.

Flintshire County Councillor David Healey, Cabinet Member for Climate Change and the Economy said:

“Holywell Festive Market attracted both local residents and visitors to the town throughout the day; supporting our market traders, town centre shops and bringing the community together." 

Stallholder Doreen Lee from DASU said: “I think it’s wonderful for the town and it’s nice that people can come out and enjoy themselves. It’s a good way of bringing people together.”
