Help With Saving Energy
The services that Flintshire County Council's Domestic Energy Efficiency Team offer are as follows:
- Energy advice
- Help and advice on dealing with your energy supplier
- Advice and signposting for various funding streams for heating upgrades and energy efficiency measures.
- Support and onward referrals for income maximisation
- Referrals and signposting to assist with basic needs for optimum health and wellbeing (including food parcels/vouchers, emergency gas and electric top-ups on your meter)
- Referrals and signposting for support with mental health issues
- Referrals and signposting for home and personal safety issues (to include carbon monoxide detectors, smoke alarms, safety alarms)
- Onward referrals for debt management and budgeting
- Referrals and signposting to Priority services register

NEST Wales
The Nest scheme offers a range of free, impartial advice and, if you are eligible, a package of free home energy efficiency improvements such as a new boiler, central heating, insulation, or solar panels. This can lower your energy bills and benefit your health and wellbeing.
