Ty Glas Housing Society in conjunction with Flintshire County Council is developing 73 Extra Care 1 and 2 bedroom high quality apartments for rent, with communal facilities, for individuals aged 60 and over, in the town of Flint. Within the scheme, the apartments will meet the needs of varying levels of support, which includes 58 apartments for extra care, and 15 apartments are specifically designed and adapted for older people with memory loss or living with dementia.
Housing management and ancillary services on-site will be provided by Clwyd Alyn Housing Association, whilst Flintshire County Council will take responsibility for the provision of on-site domiciliary care, for tentants with an assessed need. Priority is given to residents of the Flintshire area.

Llys Eleanor Extra Care Scheme consists of 50 high quality extra care apartments available for rent, for individuals aged 60 years and over with an assessed support need. Llys Eleanor offers you the opportunity to live in your own apartment safe in the knowledge that help and support is right on your doorstep 24 hours a day.
On-site housing management and ancillary services will be provided by Clwyd Alyn Housing Association as managing agents for Ty Glas Housing Society whilst Flintshire County Council tales responsibility for the provision of the on-site domiciliary care on a 24 hour basis. The care is tailored towards your individually assessed care needs, to help you maintain privacy, dignity, independence and choice.

Llys Jasmine
Extra Care Housing scheme, Mold, has now been built for Wales & West Housing in partnership with Flintshire County Council.
Extra Care Housing is for older people and Llys Jasmine provides state of the art supported accommodation to help people to live independently for as long as they possibly can.
The 61 apartments 33 one bedroom, 28 two bedroom were completed in late summer 2013. This development includes 15 apartments specially designed for people with dementia, plus an additional two, two bedroom bungalows.
Care staff are available 24 hours a day to deliver care in emergencies or in response to individual care plans. The apartments are made available for rent, or to purchase, by Wales & West Housing for those people who meet the eligibility criteria.
