The CYPP Plan records what work needs to be done, and by whom, to achieve improved outcomes for children, young people and families in Flintshire.
Eteach UK Limited was formed in January 2000 as a result of the purchase of Appointments for Teachers (AFT), the first teacher recruitment web site in the UK.
Education Maintenance Allowances (EMAs) provide means-tested financial support for young people aged 16 - 19 in full-time education.
Flintshire County Council has reviewed the current procedure for notifying parents/guardians and pupils when schools need to close at short notice due to adverse weather conditions or other emergencies, such as a gas leak etc.

Flintshire LEA provides a centralised service for instrumental/vocal tuition, in support of all its schools in the development of musical skills, outside the national curriculum.
PE and School Sport is a partnership between Welsh Government and the Sports
Council for Wales, with the aim to develop the quality of PE and School Sport
in Wales.
Flintshire County Council collects pupil statistics in January as part of the statutory national pupil level census.
These figures are used by the Welsh Government and the Local Authority to inform funding calculations and for other statistical purposes.
Schools in Flintshire are proud of the relationship they have with parents of students, and with other members of the community. From time to time, however, disagreements can arise.
Please note that training days for teaching staff are held periodically. On training days, the school premises are open but pupils are not admitted.
The County Council, as a Local Education Authority (the LEA), is responsible for determining the arrangements for admissions to all Community Primary, Secondary and Special Schools and Voluntary Controlled Schools. The LEA will consult annually with school Governing Bodies in relation to admissions.
