Fire Service and Council to visit local residents

North Wales Fire Service and Flintshire County Council will be visiting blocks of flats during August with the Fire Service Community Bus. The aim of these events is to promote fire safety in the blocks and to answer any concerns that the tenants may have in relation to fire safety. The visits will take place as follows: Date & time of visit Castle Heights and Knights Green Flint 14.8.17 10am-4pm Alyn Meadows and Acacia Close Mold 15.8.17 10am-12:30pm Acacia Close Mold 15.8.17 1-4pm Plas Dewi, Llwyn Aled and Llwyn Bueno Holywell 16.8.17 10am-4pm Prince of Wales Court Buckley 17.8.17 10am-4pm Flintshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Housing, Councillor Bernie Attridge, said: “We have arranged these visits to reassure our tenants and answer any questions. This is on top of the extensive work we have already carried out to assure our residents that the buildings are safe. Fire officers and council officers will be on hand to provide information on the measures we have in place and to reassure residents of the commitment we have as a council to their personal safety.”
