Both are stalwarts of the Royal British Legion.  Elaine is Chair of the Flint Branch and is actively involved in all areas of work including support, welfare and the Poppy Appeal.

Val is the area organiser of the Poppy Appeal.  She has been doing this for a number of years, raising valuable funds for the relief and benefit of ex-service man and women.

Councillor Cunningham presented each with a certificate and a commemorative mug in recognition of their work.
