The Society aims to stimulate interest in natural history and play a part in the conservation of flora and fauna on Deeside and the surrounding area. The Society holds a series of interesting talks about birds and wildlife (free to attend for members) at Connahs Quay Community Centre, Tuscan Way, Connahs Quay, on the 3rd Friday of every month (September to March inclusive). Our work involves the management of a nature reserve at Connahs Quay Power Station. Entrance to the reserve is free to members who will receive a permit to visit the reserve on payment of their subscriptions. Group visits for non - members may be arranged by completing and sending off the booking form which is available in the public area of the website.
