Flintshire County Council (FCC) is focused on developing green spaces in its towns, as a way to benefit the environment and our communities.
Recent studies have identified multiple locations in Shotton that would benefit from green improvements such as trees, planting, methods to reduce flooding, improving air quality and visual appeal.
Using the funding award for 2025-2026, 3 areas will be the focus for green improvements in Shotton town centre.
The consultation will look at public support for public space and green improvements in Shotton.
An online consultation is available between 01/08/2025 and 26/08/2025 or alternatively an in-person event with representatives from Flintshire’s Regeneration team in Rivertown Church on Tuesday 26th August 2025 9:30am-12:30pm.
