Chairman’s fundraising

The outgoing Chairman of Flintshire County Council, Councillor Brian Lloyd and his Consort, Mrs Jean Lloyd, presented their chosen charities with cheques totalling £13,500 recently. Since being elected last May, Councillor Lloyd has supported Claire House Hospice, MacMillan Cancer Support and Barnardo’s Cymru. Each charity received £4,500. Councillor Lloyd presented representatives from the charities with cheques at County Hall in Mold, ending a successful year as Chairman.
