Emergency works planned for Chester Road, Shotton

Emergency remedial work will be carried out on a section of Chester Road, Shotton, on Saturday, March 7 ahead of the planned resurfacing scheme later this month.

Highways operatives will undertake planing works to remove the most deteriorated section of carriageway near the Ash Grove car park. The work is necessary to address the worst affected area of road surface in advance of a full resurfacing programme.

Once the work is completed, the carriageway will remain in a temporary condition until it is fully reinstated as part of the main scheme scheduled to begin on March 18. Full details of this scheme will be available next week.
