Draft North Wales Joint Local Transport Plan Consultation: 24 November 2014 to
5 January 2015
A consultation event on the Draft North Wales Joint Local Transport Plan (
LTP) is being held on Monday 15 December from 1pm to 7pm at Mold Town Hall,
Earl Road, Mold. Flintshire.
The event provides the opportunity for the public and stakeholders to discuss
and comment on the schemes that have been put forward to deliver the
interventions outlined in the Draft North Wales Joint Local Transport Plan
2015- 2020.
The plan covers Isle of Anglesey Council; Conwy County Borough Council;
Denbighshire County Council; Flintshire County Council; Gwynedd Council and
Wrexham County Borough Council areas and sets out their vision to remove
barriers to economic growth, prosperity and well-being by delivering safe,
sustainable, affordable and effective transport networks’.
It is hoped that this will be achieved by working with the Welsh Government to
deliver capital infrastructure that helps deliver economic growth to North
Wales by providing better access to services and jobs through their higher
level intervention.
Councillor Bernie Attridge, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Environment,
said:
