Flintshire Connects Annual Report

Published: 21/10/2019

The Flintshire Connects Annual Report 2018/19 will be considered by Cabinet at its meeting on 22 October.

The report reflects the Council’s commitment to providing face to face and digital access to Council services in towns across the County.

During 2018/19 the Connects Centres managed over 115,000 customer enquiries about council services ranging from housing, council tax and benefits to transport and Blue Badges.

Councillor Billy Mullin, Cabinet Member for Corporate Management and Assets said:

“This positive Annual Report reflects the Council’s commitment to delivering excellent customer service that is accessible and responsive to the needs of local communities.

“We have seen footfall increase over the last 12 months at every Connects Centre and I am delighted that so many customers are very satisfied with the service they receive from council staff.

As the Council continues to develop modern online services that enable customers to access services at a time convenient to them we continue to provide support at Connects Centres to assist people to use digital services. Over 12,000 people were supported last year, this reflects our commitment to supporting customers to access online services now and in the future.”
