Equality Impact Assessments

The Council set its annual budget on 1st March 2012 which included the need to make approximately £4.7m of efficiencies during 2012-2013. The budget proposals were shared for consultation with members of the public and elected members. To help us to understand the impact the efficiencies proposals may have on equality of different sections of our community, initial screening exercises have been undertaken on each proposal. A summary of the EIA of the annual budget can be found   Where appropriate full equality impact assessments have been completed on the efficiency proposals.
