Castell Alun High School, Hope

Flintshire County Council is undertaking work at Castell Alun High School, Hope, on a project that will improve the education provision in the area.  The Council will be investing over £5.0m in the school with the aim to provide a new Art and Design Technology teaching block and remodelled internal accommodation.

A better learning environment will help to inspire pupils to learn and will assist the Council in achieving its obligations under the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.  The project promotes a more equal Wales by providing modern facilities which will remove barriers to learning and increase the likelihood of children and young people realising their full potential.

The project was officially launched in October 2018 and will be delivered by Willmott Dixon, with an anticipated completion date of late 2020 / early 2021.
