Proposal To Reorganise Saltney Ferry C.P And Saltney Wood Memorial C.P

The Council has been seeking your views on a proposal to close Saltney Ferry C.P and Saltney Wood Memorial C.P and open a new maintained community school operating on the current two sites whilst a new building is approved and constructed on the Saltney Wood Memorial site.

The formal consultation period commenced on Tuesday 3 June 2025 and ended on Friday 18 July 2025.

The next step is the publication of the Statutory Notice. This Statutory Notice marks the start of a 28-day Objection Period from 7th November to 5th December 2025 and sets out the address to which objections in writing may be submitted.
